NOLA has launched a new Happy Hour promotion that will treat guests to some great $2 deals. Come to NOLA any Tuesday through Friday between 2pm and 4pm for $2 Beignets and $2 Cafe' au Lait's. No coupons needed and there are no purchase limits, so bring a friend and enjoy.

Best Bites of 2015: Jay's Picks

"Nola Doughnuts owner Robert Herkes invited my buddy Eusebio Gongora to help him sell his doughnuts at a farmers market outside of Portland one Saturday when we were there for a guy's trip in late June. I'm truly glad I awoke from my slumber and tagged along. The doughnuts, made from croissant dough, were out of this world, but it was the apple fritter that really won me over."

A taste of New Orleans comes to Lake Oswego

The day Connie DeMerell launched her career as a doughnut entrepreneur, she wistfully looked out at the gathering crowd and wondered if anyone would come to her booth at the Tigard Farmers Market.

Two hours later, she was completely sold out of donuts. The next week, there was a line waiting to buy her doughnuts. Thus, DeMerell proved the axiom, “If you make a delicious doughnut, they will come.”
